Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sella takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Sella looks winded!
Senju shoots in for a double leg but Sella sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Senju throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Senju cracks a nice hook into Sella's ribs.
Senju closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Senju has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Senju closes the distance and pushes Sella back into the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sella has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Senju has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sella is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Nic Sella showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
