Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 32 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dave Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, Anthony Johnson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.

Johnson's corner calls for a 1-2. Johnson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Johnson checks a leg kick.
Johnson avoids the head kick by Brown.

Brown clinches up with Johnson and pushes him back against the ropes.

Brown wants to break free but Johnson has control.

Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

A punch lands to the side of Johnson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Brown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Johnson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Johnson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Brown rather than just go for the knockout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Brown seems to have got his legs back now.
Johnson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Brown tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Johnson scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Brown to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Johnson away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Brown got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Brown walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
