The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abel dives in and scores a takedown into Chasapis's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chasapis is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Abel is aware though and is defending well.
Abel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Abel sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chasapis's guard.
Abel is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Chasapis!
Chasapis is breathing heavily.
Chasapis is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Abel locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Chasapis is forced to tap!
