Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kiyah Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kiyah Matsumoto!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joey Moon!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matsumoto drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Matsumoto is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Matsumoto tries for a kimura but Moon is defending well.
Moon is trying to escape the position but Matsumoto is controlling the position.
Moon tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Matsumoto easily slips into full mount!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Moon is looking to control Matsumoto's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moon avoid being mounted?

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
