The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ove fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boomer manages to avoid it.
Ove throws a leg kick that is checked

and Boomer counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ove is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Boomer dives into side control.

Boomer stands up and beckons Ove to his feet.
Boomer has a takedown stuffed.
Ove shoots in but Boomer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boomer scores with a head kick. Ove tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Geir Ove has been cut.
Ove misses with a double jab.
Ove looks winded!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ove shoots in for a double leg but Boomer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Boomer has picked Ove up - he's going for a ride! Boomer dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Ove is trying to stand back up but Boomer is controlling him
Boomer passes the guard and advances to mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Boomer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Boomer swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
