Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James darts in and clinches Prado up against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
James works on Prado's body with a couple of short punches.
James landing knees to the body.
James blocks an uppercut.

James pulls guard effortlessly.
Prado won't allow James to sweep him here.
James is still trying to improve position.
James thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
James has Prado pulled in close to control his posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prado trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
James is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

James keeping moving, preventing Prado from controlling successfully.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
James is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Prado shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches James napping and manages to drive through into side control!
James prevents Prado from improving position.
Prado trying to control the action but James is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Prado looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

You can see the frustration on James's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Prado is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. James is trying to escape and Prado transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and James is forced to tap! Nice work there by Prado! Very nice indeed!
