And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lug Luger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ove closes the distance but Luger moves to the side

and Luger counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luger throwing strikes from guard but Ove blocks nicely.
Ove preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Luger works over Ove with some ground and pound from guard.
Luger lands a couple of decent looking shots.

It looks like Geir Ove has been cut.
Luger stands up over Ove, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Geir Ove's cut is getting worse.
Ove is breathing heavily.
Luger working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Jeez, Geir Ove's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Geir Ove's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Lug Luger decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
