Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edwards closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Henrik did well to prevent Edwards getting side control.
Edwards throws a strike but Henrik avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Henrik is trying to keep Edwards in close.
Edwards has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Henrik is proving hard to escape from.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Edwards in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Edwards closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Henrik's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Edwards decides to stand back up. Edwards steps back and let's Henrik get back to his feet.

Edwards goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Henrik rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Edwards's guard! Nice work there by Henrik!

Edwards knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Henrik on the ground.

Edwards wants to improve his position but instead Henrik has moved into half guard.
Henrik tries to pass to full mount but Edwards defends it.
Edwards on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Edwards tries to get out of the position.
Edwards tries to roll over but Henrik keeps him under control.

Edwards is looking to reverse the position.
Henrik is looking to take a break and control but Edwards is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Edwards's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Henrik is working to tighten his grip on Edwards's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Edwards has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Henrik is really squeezing tight and eventually Edwards passes out! Henrik breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
