Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bore Ragnarok (ranked 24106 p4p, 575 weight class) and Felix Chase (ranked 4260 p4p, 430 weight class). Chase has chosen Holy Diver as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Felix Chase is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ragnarok circles away.
Ragnarok was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
We've been told by Ragnarok's head coaches at Redfist MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Chase gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ragnarok.
Chase darts in looking for a takedown but Ragnarok gets double underhooks and turns Chase into the ropes.

Bore Ragnarok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felix Chase .
Ragnarok misses with a double jab.
Chase throws a nice looking combination but Ragnarok bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ragnarok tests Chase 's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Horrible takedown attempt by Chase or perhaps it was just good defense by Ragnarok, which made it look bad.
Ragnarok comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Ragnarok counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chase looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Chase will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It looked like Ragnarok was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Chase .

Ragnarok lands with a straight right. Chase didn't see that one coming.

Ragnarok leaves Chase with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chase tries to land a body kick

and Ragnarok counters with a crisp one two that drops Chase ! Ragnarok thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Chase to his feet! Chase is in big trouble!

Chase is rocked!
Ragnarok lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Chase - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Ragnarok!
