PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Wilder (ranked 3352 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Winn (ranked 1983 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob Winn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilder ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Winn moves away.
Wilder fails to land with a series of punches.
Winn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bob Winn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilder lands with a hook. Winn tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Winn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Wilder has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Winn is on him like a limpet, forcing Wilder back against the cage.

Winn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Winn connects with a nice short shot to Wilder's temple.
