PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rhino Jackson (ranked 25108 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killer Mr B (ranked 23439 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Killer Mr B!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mr B checks a leg kick.
Jackson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mr B's head backwards.

Mr B scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mr B just content to control the position.
Mr B wants to stand but Jackson has his arm trapped.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mr B tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mr B has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mr B landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Jackson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Jackson seems a little lost for a moment, as Mr B dominates the positioning.

Mr B decides to stand back up. Mr B steps back and let's Jackson get back to his feet.
Mr B misses the jab.

Mr B looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Mr B passes into half guard.
Jackson is breathing heavily.

Mr B has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mr B stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mr B seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mr B takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Mr B is figuring out what he wants to do next.
It looks like Mr B might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mr B lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Killer Mr B dominated that round.

Mr B shoots in and bounces Jackson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mr B works over Jackson with some ground and pound from guard.
Mr B wants to stand and escape but instead Jackson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Mr B is pulling down on Jackson 's head to control his posture.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mr B looking for a triangle here. Jackson is fighting it but it looks tight! Mr B pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Jackson is tapping out - this one is all over!
