Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dortmund shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rassum pinned against the cage. Rassum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A head kick misses from Rassum.
Rassum misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rassum is looking to score with low kicks.

Rassum has closed the distance and engaged Dortmund in a clinch.
Dortmund prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dortmund really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rassum throws a knee to the head but misses.

Rassum breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dortmund blocks the body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dortmund uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rassum.
Rassum tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rassum throws a leg kick but Dortmund sees it coming and moves out of range.
Dortmund shoots in but no luck this time.
Dortmund closes the distance and clinches up with Rassum, looking for a takedown. Dortmund pushes Rassum against the cage but Rassum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A slapping leg kick lands for Rassum.

Rassum has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dortmund has Rassum pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rassum manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Rassum has picked Dortmund up - he's going for a ride! Rassum dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Dortmund is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Rassum pulls his head out easily.
Rassum seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dortmund does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rassum wants to stand but Dortmund has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Dortmund is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rassum off and has taken his back!

Rassum defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Dortmund's arms.

Rassum is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Dortmund off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Dortmund is persistently looking for the submission but Rassum is defending it well.

Rassum manages to reverse the position and now he's in Dortmund's guard. Nice work there by Rassum.

Dortmund isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rassum stacks Dortmund on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rassum!
Rassum gets to mount! Dortmund was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rassum get's back to his feet.

Rassum trying to control but Dortmund is working from the bottom.

Dortmund looking for subs off his back but Rassum has passed one foot through into half guard.

Rassum tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Dortmund.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dortmund has his takedown stuffed
and Rassum counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dortmund's knee momentarily.
Dortmund moves out of range as Rassum throws a body kick.

Rassum drives through and clinches with Dortmund against the cage.

Rassum pulls guard.

Dortmund postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rassum is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dortmund, into his guard.

Dortmund working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rassum doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rassum manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rassum wants to stand but Dortmund has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Rassum drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rassum jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rassum is breathing heavily.

Dortmund escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rassum gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rassum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dortmund looking for a guillotine here but Rassum defends easily.

Dortmund has his foot on Rassum's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rassum works his way back into a safe position though.
Rassum wanted to stand there but Dortmund had control of the position.

Oh but Dortmund is tightening it up a little... Rassum has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rassum reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rassum taps out! nice BJJ there by Dortmund!
