The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe tries to close the distance and clinch but Son Of swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Son Of swings for the body but Joe moves out of range.
Joe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Son Of paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Son Of connects with a good right hand that stumbles Joe. Joe circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like John Joe has been cut.
Son Of scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Joe's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Joe's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and Joe counters with a one-two to the body.
Worf Son Of seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Joe fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Joe misses with an uppercut. Son Of saw that one coming.

Joe moves into the clinch.
Son Of swings wildly with an uppercut but Joe uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Son Of pushes Joe back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Son Of tries to work over Joe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Joe is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Joe misses with an elbow strike.
Joe looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Son Of tries to throw a body punch but Joe avoids it by throwing Son Of back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joe creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Joe manages to break the clinch.
Son Of looks to land a combination but Joe avoids it well.
It seemed like Joe was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Son Of dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Son Of scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Son Of drops Joe with a big left hand! Joe is injured, injured bad! Son Of jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

During a confident post fight interview, Worf Son Of thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
