Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Christian Neffgen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Francisco Cassel!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neffgen wants to clinch but Cassel slips to the side
and Cassel counters with a shoot takedown. Neffgen fights it but they end up in guard.
Cassel slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Cassel throwing strikes but missing.
Neffgen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cassel controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cassel lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Cassel with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cassel controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Cassel drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Cassel seems to have locked his on tight now - Neffgen screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Cassel, as he picks up the win!
