Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severus works over Ferguson's head and body with a nice combination.
Severus closes the distance looking to clinch

and Ferguson counters with a single leg into guard. Severus didn't expect that.

Severus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Severus's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ferguson is looking to improve his position but Severus isn't that keen on the idea.

Ferguson is desperately trying to improve his position but Severus has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Severus lands with a kick to the temple. Ferguson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Juanito Ferguson has been cut.
Ferguson keeps the fight on the outside.
And Ferguson tries to counter it with a takedown but Severus pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Severus is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ferguson can do to turn this around?
Ferguson gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Ferguson tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Severus is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Ferguson buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Ferguson!! Ferguson is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Severus throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
