Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Henrik (ranked 4811 p4p, 455 weight class) and Darko Mihajlovic (ranked 6150 p4p, 491 weight class). Roy Henrik has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mihajlovic closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Henrik to the mat! Henrik manages to get full guard.
Henrik pulls Mihajlovic in to control the position.
Mihajlovic advances position into side control!
Mihajlovic is trying to move to mount but Henrik reverses beautifully and ends up in Mihajlovic's guard.
Mihajlovic bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henrik's guard.

Henrik pulls Mihajlovic in close to prevent any damage.
Mihajlovic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henrik swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Henrik managing to control the position.
Henrik looking for a sweep. Not yet Henrik, not yet.
Henrik keeping moving, preventing Mihajlovic from controlling successfully.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Henrik seems keen to control Mihajlovic's posture.
Henrik bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mihajlovic's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Henrik trying to control but Mihajlovic is working from the bottom.
Mihajlovic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Henrik tries to free his leg and advance position but Mihajlovic is retaining full guard.

Mihajlovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Henrik. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Henrik tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Henrik has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Henrik misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Henrik passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Mihajlovic!
Henrik looking to control but Mihajlovic is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Mihajlovic is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Henrik moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Mihajlovic has worked his arm free - good work by Mihajlovic!
Henrik tries to stand but Mihajlovic is controlling his head.

Henrik thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Henrik lands some shots froms side control.
Henrik has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Mihajlovic!

Henrik jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Mihajlovic is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Mihajlovic and Henrik has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Henrik working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Mihajlovic fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Henrik to the ground. Mihajlovic is now in Henrik's guard.

Henrik is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Mihajlovic frees his head nicely. Oh but Henrik has switched to an armbar! Mihajlovic is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
