The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vilheimshaugen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Saenamuang as he jumps to the side.
Saenamuang seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Vilheimshaugen darts in looking for a takedown but Saenamuang gets double underhooks and turns Vilheimshaugen into the cage.
Vilheimshaugen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jettrin Saenamuang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gundro Vilheimshaugen.
Vilheimshaugen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Saenamuang counters with a nice body kick.
Vilheimshaugen misses with a takedown attempt - Saenamuang sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Vilheimshaugen shoots in for a takedown but Saenamuang shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vilheimshaugen looks winded!
Saenamuang works over Vilheimshaugen's head and body with a nice combination.
Saenamuang scores with a body shot.
Saenamuang lands a big head kick that sends Vilheimshaugen tumbling to the mat! Saenamuang takes a step backwards and waves Vilheimshaugen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vilheimshaugen is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vilheimshaugen wants to stay close but Saenamuang steps back to make room for something. Vilheimshaugen seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Saenamuang and Vilheimshaugen drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jettrin Saenamuang!
A less than humble Jettrin Saenamuang misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
