Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Barry (ranked 24446 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Nagelsmann (ranked 4613 p4p, 375 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nagelsmann shoots in and gets a takedown into Barry's guard.
Barry is trying to keep Nagelsmann in close.
Nagelsmann controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Barry has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nagelsmann can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Barry looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Nagelsmann has picked Barry up and slammed him! Barry can't keep hold of the triangle and Nagelsmann manages to pass to side control!

Nagelsmann decides to stand up, so the ref orders Barry to his feet.
Barry on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Nagelsmann feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Barry lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nagelsmann has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nagelsmann and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Barry shoots in but no luck this time.

Nagelsmann has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Barry regains guard immediately.

Nagelsmann postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Barry is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nagelsmann, into his guard.

Nagelsmann closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barry to the mat! Barry manages to get full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Nagelsmann manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Barry on his heels. He'll look to pass Barry's guard now, I'm sure.

Nagelsmann has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Barry is trying to keep an underhook but Nagelsmann manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Nagelsmann swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Barry is now in Nagelsmann's guard. A big mistake from Nagelsmann there, giving up the dominant position!

Well Nagelsmann has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
