Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Dawson (ranked 22125 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Flemming (ranked 4791 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dawson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Flemming has taken the fight to the clinch.
Flemming breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Flemming throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dawson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Flemming is in Dawson's guard.
Dawson is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Flemming presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Dawson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Flemming uses from the top position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dawson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Flemming manages to get himself to full guard.

Dawson drops back looking for a leg! Flemming is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Flemming manages to kick Dawson off! Dawson jumps back into Flemming 's guard.

Flemming is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Flemming is working an open guard so Dawson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Dawson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Flemming 's guard.

Dawson has hold of Flemming 's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Flemming seems comfortable defending it but Dawson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Flemming is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Flemming is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Dawson couldn't care less - he's delighted!
