Millhouse comes to the cage accompanied by Suge by DaBaby. Max Engelmann is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Engelmann tries to clinch but Millhouse moves away
and Millhouse counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Engelmann looks to land a combination but Millhouse avoids it well.
Engelmann fails with an attempt to clinch.
Engelmann doesn't manage to clinch there - Millhouse circles away.
Engelmann misses with a jab, cross combination.
Millhouse swats away the attempt to clinch by Engelmann.
Engelmann shoots in for a takedown but Millhouse shows good takedown defense.

Millhouse went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

and Millhouse counters with a single leg into guard. Engelmann didn't expect that.
Engelmann wants to stand and escape but Millhouse is having none of it.
Millhouse slips nicely into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Millhouse in particular looking to stall.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Millhouse has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Millhouse seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Engelmann for as long as he can get away with.
