Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dwane Carlos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tj Killashaw!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlos lands a two punch combo.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carlos.
Carlos fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Killashaw avoids it really well and circles away.
A jab from Killashaw misses.
Nice straight punches there by Killashaw. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Killashaw.

Carlos has managed to clinch.
Killashaw is trying to break the clinch but Carlos has him pressed against the cage.
Killashaw tries to break the clinch but Carlos is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Killashaw wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Carlos creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Killashaw's defenses.

Carlos breaks from the clinch.
Killashaw keeps the fight on the outside.

Carlos moves into range and clinches up with Killashaw.
Killashaw is trying to force a seperation but Carlos has the dominant position.
Carlos lands an elbow inside that Killashaw shrugs off.
Carlos keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Killashaw's efforts to push away.

Carlos breaks from the clinch.

Carlos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Killashaw looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Killashaw sneaks out the side door and pushes Carlos away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Killashaw slaps away a takedown attempt from Carlos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwane Carlos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Killashaw throws out a loose jab but Carlos uses good head movement to avoid it.
Killashaw keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Killashaw throws out a counter right but Carlos avoids it with no problem.

Killashaw throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Killashaw throws a wild body kick that Carlos sees coming a mile off.
Carlos tries to clinch but Killashaw is having none of it.
Carlos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Killashaw defends well and Carlos ends up having to push Killashaw into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Carlos tries to bum rush Killashaw with a series of wild strikes but Killashaw uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A looping hook to the body misses from Killashaw. Carlos does a little dance to reset his feet.
Donk. Killashaw catches Carlos right on the button with a cross.
Carlos avoids a punch combination nicely.
Carlos has a takedown stuffed.

Carlos clinches up against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carlos stalling in the clinch.
Carlos tries to land a knee to the head but Killashaw blocks with his arms.
Carlos lands a shot to the body.
Carlos keeps control of Killashaw as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Carlos lands a right hand that snaps the head of Killashaw backwards.

Killashaw breaks from the clinch.
Killashaw circles away from the clinch attempt
and Killashaw counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Dwane Carlos has been cut.
Carlos slips a jab from Killashaw.

Killashaw drops Carlos with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Carlos looks back up at him and smiles so Killashaw waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Carlos is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Killashaw weaves into range and cracks Carlos right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Carlos goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Killashaw is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tj Killashaw!
