And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mon throws a combination that misses
and Fdsa counters with a shoot takedown. Mon fights it but they end up in guard.
Fdsa working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mon trying to control the position.
Fdsa engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Fdsa postures up.
Fdsa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fdsa pushes down on Mon's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Fdsa content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Fdsa is nestled in close to Mon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fdsa looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Mon is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Fdsa is staying active.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fdsa lands a nice short elbow.

Fdsa postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mon looks a forlorn figure.
Fdsa lands a couple of good shots and Mon has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Mon is trapped and Fdsa is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Fdsa has the hooks in. Mon is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Fdsa lands a shot to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mon covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Fdsa is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Mon. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Fdsa punishes Mon with strikes from the back mount.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Fdsa lands a series of strikes from the back and Mon goes limp! The ref jumps in to save him!
