Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damocles Tarver (ranked 1349 p4p, 200 weight class) and Shao Khan (ranked 4268 p4p, 489 weight class). Tarver comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't No Sunshine - DMX. Damocles Tarver could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Shao Khan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Damocles Tarver!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shao Khan!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tarver throws out the jab.
Tarver throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Damocles Tarver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tarver lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tarver lands a left and a right that send Khan crashing to the mat, dazed. Tarver thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Khan is rocked!
A looping hook to the body misses from Khan. Tarver does a little dance to reset his feet.
Khan is still on wobbly legs! Can Tarver finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tarver throws a shot from downtown. Khan moves away and avoids it.
Khan dodges the punch combination from Tarver.

Khan seems to have recovered his senses.

Tarver moves out of range of the body kick from Khan.
A decent looking cross lands there for Khan.
Tarver fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Khan on the side of the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Khan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tarver manages to avoid it.
Tarver circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Khan to the canvas! Khan doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Tarver keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Damocles Tarver!
