The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huxley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Huxley fails to land the takedown.
Huxley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Evans closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Evans cracks Huxley with a big elbow.
It looks like Ben Huxley has been cut.
Huxley takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Huxley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Evans is just riding it out for now. Huxley eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Evans throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Huxley is in a horrible position here. Evans smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Ben Huxley's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ben Huxley's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
