Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takashi Senju (ranked 6877 p4p, 571 weight class) and Erich Ludendorff (ranked 4145 p4p, 452 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ludendorff's choice of entrance music: Erika. Erich Ludendorff will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takashi Senju!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erich Ludendorff!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludendorff is looking to clinch.
Senju catches Ludendorff with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!


It looks like Erich Ludendorff has been cut.
Senju swats away the attempt to clinch by Ludendorff.

Senju closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ludendorff's guard.
Senju controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Senju throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Ludendorff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Senju is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Senju wanted to stand there but Ludendorff had control of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Senju's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Ludendorff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Senju. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Senju has his foot on Ludendorff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ludendorff works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ludendorff clinches up with Senju and pushes him back against the ropes.
Ludendorff throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Senju blocks it with crossed arms.
Ludendorff creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Ludendorff lands an uppercut.

Senju pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ludendorff misses with a body shot.
Erich Ludendorff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Senju shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ludendorff defends it nicely.

Ludendorff tries a head kick but it misses.

Senju rushes Ludendorff and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Takashi Senju will probably get the nod.

Senju goes for a takedown attempt but Ludendorff pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Senju moves in looking to clinch but Ludendorff pushes him off.

Ludendorff looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Ludendorff dips a shoulder and cracks Senju with a mighty uppercut! Senju falls back against the ropes and Ludendorff unloads with a barrage of strikes! Senju is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ludendorff screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erich Ludendorff!
In his post fight interview, Erich Ludendorff started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
