PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Bryant (ranked 6905 p4p, 458 weight class) and Tristan Assface (ranked 25166 p4p, 518 weight class). Bryant has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assface throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bryant.
Assface looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Bryant drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bryant pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Assface is keeping the position for now.
Assface controls Bryant momentarily but Bryant frees himself.
Bryant is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Assface wants to stand but Bryant is controlling the position.
Bryant might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bryant shoots for a double leg takedown but Assface sprawls well. He's pushed Bryant's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bryant tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Assface ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Assface no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bryant tries to free his leg and advance position but Assface is retaining full guard.

Assface tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Bryant has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Assface!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bryant in particular looking to stall.

Assface has his foot on Bryant's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bryant works his way back into a safe position though.

Bryant throws a strike but Assface rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bryant shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Assface napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Assface's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dwayne Bryant will probably get the nod.

Bryant displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Assface.

Bryant looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Assface is looking to cinch up a triangle. Bryant throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Assface's body to avoid the submission. Assface has instead reached around Bryant's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Assface arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
