Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bussa takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bussa. Alcala does a little dance to reset his feet.
Alcala tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bussa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Alcala wants to clinch up but Bussa keeps it at a distance.
Alcala throws a head kick that half lands.
Nice body kick there by Alcala.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alcala looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
It looked like Bussa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Alcala clinches up with Bussa and pushes him back against the ropes.

Bussa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Alcala.
Alcala dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bussa. That did some damage!
Bussa digs a good hook to Alcala's body.
Alcala throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bussa misses with a wild combination.
Alcala uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bussa.
Alcala tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Bussa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Alcala takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Alcala tries to clinch up but Bussa circles away and keeps his distance.
Alcala stuns Bussa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
