Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stipe Miocic (ranked 4590 p4p, 508 weight class) and Drizontay Wilder (ranked 2999 p4p, 384 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miocic is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wilder sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The crowd cheers as Wilder lands an impressive looking overhand right. Miocic doesn't seem phased though.

Miocic takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Wilder cracks Miocic with an uppercut from hell and Miocic crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Wilder's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Miocic's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wilder connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Miocic scrambles back to his feet.

Miocic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wilder sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miocic somewhat.
