Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gene Hartman (ranked 24257 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heaven Astacio (ranked 4787 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Astacio.
Hartman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hartman lands with a hook. Astacio tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Astacio shoots in and gets a takedown into Hartman's guard.
Astacio working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hartman pulls Astacio in close to his closed guard and prevents Astacio from doing any damage or advancing position.
Astacio stays in close to Hartman's body and controls the position.

Hartman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Astacio must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Astacio looking to sit in guard and control but Hartman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Astacio is looking for a triangle but Hartman pushes his legs off easily.
Astacio is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hartman is trying to control but can't.

Astacio is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hartman is just riding it out for now. Astacio eventually gives up the hold.
Astacio content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Astacio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hartman keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Astacio escapes and gets back to his feet.
Astacio cracks Hartman with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Hartman pushes Astacio up against the cage in a clinch.

Hartman gets control of Astacio's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hartman will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Astacio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hartman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Astacio is posturing up here but Hartman has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Astacio tries to roll out but it's too tight and Astacio has to tap! Slick submission there by Hartman!
