Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kieth Floyd (ranked 4800 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Boyd (ranked 5837 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyd is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Evil villain. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd looks to land a body kick but Floyd moved away.
Floyd gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Boyd.

It looks like Kieth Floyd has been cut.

Floyd shoots in and bounces Boyd off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Boyd looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Floyd has picked Boyd up and slammed him! Boyd can't keep hold of the triangle and Floyd manages to pass to side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Floyd seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Floyd really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boyd can do anything to dispel that myth.

Floyd has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Boyd! Can he survive? No! He's out! Floyd gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
