Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Delaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman comes to the cage accompanied by Prodigy's Funky Shit. Delaney has chosen Natalie Portman's Rap as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Freeman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Delaney!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman has a takedown stuffed.

Delaney shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Delaney showed some decent athleticism there.

Delaney had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Freeman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Delaney Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Freeman's back instead.
Freeman turns into Delaney and is now in his guard.

Freeman drops back looking for a leg! Delaney is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Delaney manages to kick Freeman off! Freeman jumps back into Delaney's guard.
Delaney lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Freeman!

Delaney is going olschool here, as he tries to force Freeman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Freeman shrugs it off.
Freeman really wants to buck Delaney off and get back to his feet.

Delaney has control of Freeman's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Freeman regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Delaney is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Freeman has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Freeman will probably get the nod.

Freeman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Delaney's waist but Delaney gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Freeman off to one side.

Freeman is trying to control Delaney's posture but Delaney avoids it.

Well Delaney has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
