Ragasatria doesn't succeed with the takedown

and McGowan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Ragasatria goes for a double leg but McGowan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McGowan continues to drive forward.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ragasatria tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McGowan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Alan Ragasatria has been cut.

Ragasatria dives in and grabs McGowan's left leg, looking for a takedown. McGowan pushes down on Ragasatria's head and hops out.

McGowan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ragasatria shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McGowan as he avoids it easily.
McGowan is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
McGowan feints a jab promting Ragasatria to slip. McGowan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ragasatria slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

McGowan clinches up with Ragasatria and pushes him back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ragasatria's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McGowan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ragasatria scrambles back to his feet.

McGowan rushes Ragasatria and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ragasatria takes a shot to the head.
Ragasatria is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. McGowan is defending well for now.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McGowan throws a combination that misses

and Ragasatria counters with a nice double leg into side control. McGowan won't be happy with that.
McGowan tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Ragasatria should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ragasatria has isolated one of McGowan's arms. McGowan looking to fight him off but Ragasatria twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
