Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Patton (ranked 24477 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Moreno (ranked 2827 p4p, 0 weight class). Alberto Moreno will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno fails in his attempt to clinch.
Moreno tries to clinch but Patton is having none of it.
Moreno wants to clinch but Patton slips to the side
and Patton counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Patton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Moreno gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Moreno tries to close the distance and clinch but Patton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Moreno tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Patton paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Danga de danga de dang - Moreno scores with a four punch combination!

Patton gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Patton is rocked!
Moreno throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Patton.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moreno rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Patton to counter with a crisp jab.
Moreno moves out of range of the strikes.
Moreno tries to close the distance and clinch but Patton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Moreno bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
As Patton backs off Moreno throws a huge counter combo but Patton manages to avoid it all.
Moreno misses with a jab, cross combination.
Patton walks into a left hand.
Patton moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Moreno lands a big shot that drops Patton! Can he finish him?
Oh Patton is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Moreno gets to his feet - Patton follows without any prompting.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moreno misses with a double jab
and Patton counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Moreno thinking.

Moreno moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Patton goes down! Can Moreno finish him!?
Patton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moreno on the ground.

Moreno stands up from guard. Let's bang!
A jab from Moreno misses.
Patton misses with an uppercut. Moreno saw that one coming.
Moreno staying out of range there.
Patton seems to have got his legs back now.
Moreno cracks Patton on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Patton falls backwards against the cage. Moreno follows up with more strikes that drop Patton to his knees. Moreno keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Patton! This one is all over!
