Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vic Carbon (ranked 4591 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pez Dispenser (ranked 3834 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vic Carbon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pez Dispenser!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dispenser misses with a takedown attempt - Carbon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Carbon tries to clinch but Dispenser moves out of range.

Dispenser bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Carbon explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Carbon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Carbon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Carbon is keen to just control but Dispenser is a slippery customer.
Carbon tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Dispenser preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Carbon missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Dispenser wants to control but Carbon is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Dispenser is pressing down on Carbon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carbon lands a couple of digs.
Carbon with a nice head shot there.
Dispenser throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Dispenser will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dispenser is on top in guard.

Dispenser postures up and lands a big shot to Carbon's brow.

Dispenser loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Dispenser working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Carbon's head.
Dispenser is in close to Carbon's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dispenser is looking to work some ground and pound but Carbon has wrist control.
Dispenser content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Dispenser stays in close to Carbon's body and controls the position.

Carbon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dispenser defends well.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dispenser working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Dispenser really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carbon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dispenser postures up and lands a big shot to Carbon's brow.

Carbon tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Carbon lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Carbon wants to get up but he can't break Dispenser's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dispenser is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Dispenser wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vic Carbon will probably get the nod.
That's time! Carbon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Carbon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dispenser shoots in for a takedown but Carbon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
As Dispenser tries to get set, Carbon tries to push him back and clinch up but Dispenser manages to avoid the attempt.

Carbon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Carbon works his way into side control.
Dispenser is looking for a sweep.
Carbon creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Carbon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dispenser is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Dispenser is trying to control Carbon's posture but Carbon avoids it.

Carbon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dispenser can do to turn this around?

Carbon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Carbon tries to stand but Dispenser is controlling his head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dispenser can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dispenser is looking to reverse the position.
Dispenser manages to get back to half guard.
Vic Carbon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dispenser trying to control here.
Dispenser misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Dispenser is concentrating on defense, preventing Carbon from advancing position.
Dispenser is refusing to be controlled, as Carbon sits in half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Dispenser manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Carbon won't allow Dispenser to sweep him here.

Dispenser got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carbon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dispenser has managed to get both his arms back between Carbon's legs - danger averted.

Dispenser loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Carbon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dispenser is one step ahead there.

Carbon is trying to control the position but Dispenser postures up.
Dispenser pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carbon is keeping the position for now.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Carbon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dispenser to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Dispenser keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Carbon's head.
Carbon has momentary wrist control but Dispenser slips an elbow through the middle.
Carbon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Carbon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dispenser can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dispenser stands up over Carbon, holding on to his feet. Dispenser throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Carbon is out cold! Dispenser lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
