Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Palmer Walker (ranked 24784 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alezander Mykkanen (ranked 4686 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mykkanen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mykkanen throws an elbow but it misses.
Walker avoiding damage as Mykkanen throws knees to the body.
Walker is leaning against Mykkanen and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Mykkanen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Walker backwards.

Mykkanen gets control of Walker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mykkanen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Walker drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mykkanen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mykkanen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mykkanen!

Mykkanen creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Walker sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Mykkanen tries to advance to mount but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mykkanen misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Mykkanen goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Walker has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mykkanen but great work by Walker.

Walker tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Walker working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Mykkanen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Walker scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mykkanen to see if he's OK.
Mykkanen is pushing Walker's head away, looking to escape. Walker manages to hold on to the position though.
Mykkanen is trying to improve his position.
You can see the frustration on Mykkanen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mykkanen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Walker grinds an elbow into Mykkanen's temple.
Mykkanen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Walker throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Mykkanen tries to bench press Walker off him but Walker keeps the position.
Walker lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mykkanen down.
Mykkanen bucks up and tries to throw Walker off but instead Walker has got his back!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mykkanen wants to escape the position.

Walker has got one arm under Mykkanen's chin. This could be trouble... Mykkanen trying to control the other hand but Walker gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Mykkanen has tapped out! The fight is over!
