The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runmagomedov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Turban sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Runmagomedov somewhat.
Turban let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Turban changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Turban stuffs the takedown attempt from Runmagomedov. Runmagomedov gets slowly back to his feet.
Turban loads up on a big right hand but Runmagomedov slips the punch.

Runmagomedov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Turban sprawls well initially but Runmagomedov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Runmagomedov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Turban with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Turban manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Runmagomedov keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Turban struggles to land a body shot inside as Runmagomedov controls his hands.

Runmagomedov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Turban tries to avoid it but Runmagomedov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Turban to the ground. Turban escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Oh Runmagomedov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Turban lands with a hook. Runmagomedov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Nice uppercut lands for Turban. That snapped Runmagomedov's head back.
Turban closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Runmagomedov! Turban dives in looking to finish! Runmagomedov is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
