The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Ramirez. No joy for McCaffrey on that attempt.
McCaffrey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ramirez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ramirez wants it to stay on the feet.
Jose Arroya Ramirez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stewart McCaffrey.
McCaffrey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Ramirez!

McCaffrey throws an elbow that misses. Ramirez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McCaffrey's guard. Nice move by Ramirez!
McCaffrey has his foot on Ramirez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ramirez works his way back into a safe position though.
McCaffrey isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ramirez stacks McCaffrey on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ramirez!

McCaffrey is squirming around, avoiding Ramirez's attempts to control the action.
