The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pentangelli shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Burst sprawls well. Burst wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pentangelli gets slowly back to his feet.
A quick step to the side and Burst tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pentangelli throws the kick towards the body but Burst avoids it.

Burst has closed the distance and engaged Pentangelli in a clinch.

Pentangelli is fighting off a takedown attempt but Burst is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pentangelli to the mat. Pentangelli regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Pentangelli is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Burst knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pentangelli on the ground.
Burst is trying to maintain the position but Pentangelli is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are battling for position here. Burst manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burst controls Pentangelli momentarily but Pentangelli frees himself.

Pentangelli passes Burst's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Burst has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pentangelli is working away from the top position though.

Pentangelli wants to control but Burst is keeping him busy.

Pentangelli is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Pentangelli is thwarting Burst's attempts to control the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Pentangelli maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Burst could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pentangelli has cracked it and Burst is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pentangelli!
