The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mifsud keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mifsud tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Karlsson wants to clinch.
Mifsud moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Karlsson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mifsud can pounce on him.
Mifsud turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mifsud cracks the inside of Karlsson's front leg.

Karlsson gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Karlsson looks gassed!
Mifsud is looking to improve his position.
Mifsud is trying to control but can't.

Mifsud is looking for a sweep. Karlsson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Karlsson won't allow Mifsud to sweep him here.
Mifsud knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karlsson on the ground.
