Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Les Mcdonald (ranked 5826 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Boles (ranked 24236 p4p, 0 weight class). Boles comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Neva Cared kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Hunter Boles has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Les Mcdonald's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boles shoots for a takedown but Mcdonald saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Boles walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mcdonald scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Boles moves into the clinch successfully.
Boles gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mcdonald.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Boles.
Boles is trying to push Mcdonald away but Mcdonald has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Mcdonald could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boles fails to pull the fight into his guard.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Boles takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Mcdonald will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Boles up against the cage.

Mcdonald is looking to sweep but instead, Boles has passed into half guard.
Boles wants to free his trapped foot but Mcdonald is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Boles seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Mcdonald keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Boles decides to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Les Mcdonald will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Boles shoots in looking for a takedown but Mcdonald manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Mcdonald bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mcdonald.
And Boles tries to counter it with a takedown but Mcdonald pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Boles takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

And Mcdonald counters with a quick kick to the body but Boles blocks it.

Boles shoots in for a takedown but Mcdonald shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Boles shoots in looking for a takedown but Mcdonald manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Boles is breathing heavily.
Mcdonald scores with a crisp jab that stopped Boles in his tracks.

Mcdonald lands a nice looking kick to the body. Boles takes a step back to recover.

Boles shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcdonald pinned against the cage. Mcdonald gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Boles dives in and grabs Mcdonald's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mcdonald pushes down on Boles's head and hops out.
Boles has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Boles has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mcdonald avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Les Mcdonald showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mcdonald, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
