Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Claus Haba (ranked 4999 p4p, 212 weight class) and Jax Shaw (ranked 5152 p4p, 213 weight class). Jax Shaw will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haba throws a right and a left that Shaw avoids nicely.
Shaw misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shaw misses with a takedown attempt - Haba sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Haba scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Haba looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Shaw is trying is best to control the position here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haba content to control rather than advance.

Haba has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Haba working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Shaw turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Haba off and cradles Shaw's limp body as Haba celebrates with his corner.
