Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kehveli with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Moore throws a looping overhand right but Kehveli ducks down to avoid it.
Kehveli has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kehveli connects with a body shot.
Moore bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kehveli just misses with a punch to the body.
Moore looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Kehveli attempts a counter takedown but Moore avoids it well and moves away.
Kehveli walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.


It looks like Kimmo Kehveli has been cut.
Moore takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kehveli takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kehveli scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Kehveli is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kehveli wants to free his trapped foot but Moore is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Moore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kehveli. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kehveli postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kehveli seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Moore tries to score with a low kick but Kehveli moves his leg out of the way.
Kehveli circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kehveli connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mac Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kehveli takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Moore leaves Kehveli with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Moore connects with a jab.

Kehveli connects with the punch.
Kehveli swings away with a body shot that misses
and Moore connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kehveli fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moore manages to avoid it.
Moore swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Kehveli shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Moore's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kehveli manages to get himself to full guard.

Kehveli has his foot on Moore's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moore works his way back into a safe position though.

Kehveli escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moore gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kehveli is trying to keep Moore in close.

Kehveli working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moore doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moore manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Moore must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Moore got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kehveli has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moore has managed to get both his arms back between Kehveli's legs - danger averted.

Kehveli had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Moore defends it easily.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Kehveli misses with a shot to the body
letting Moore counter with a right hand.
Moore throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kehveli sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Moore has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Kehveli is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Moore can do to turn this around?
Kehveli jabs Moore to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kehveli.
Kehveli just misses with a punch to the body.
Moore is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kehveli ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kehveli slips under a jab from Moore.
Kehveli keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Moore throws a good cross that connects.
Moore connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
No joy there for Moore, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kehveli drops down looking for a counter takedown but Moore sprawls and moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moore dips to his left and cracks Kehveli with an uppercut!

Oh Kehveli is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kehveli throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Moore lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Moore slips under a jab.
Kehveli fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moore manages to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moore closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kehveli! Moore dives in looking to finish! Kehveli is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mac Moore!
Mac Moore gave a mention to Pit Bull Development in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
