Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Chicken Dance. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Couture circles away quickly and effectively.
Carter misses the shot to the body.
Carter throws a series of punches but Couture moves out of range.
Carter scores with a punch to the head.
Couture lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Rocco Carter has been cut.
No luck for Couture with that takedown attempt.
Carter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Couture manages to avoid it.
Couture lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Carter sprawling to the canvas. Couture follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Carter hang on?
Carter is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carter is looking for a sweep. Couture is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Couture is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Couture trying to control the action but Carter is working from the bottom.
Carter trying to hold on to Couture's head to control him but Couture postures up.
Couture not doing much here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter wants to improve his position but Couture is controlling well.
Couture thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Carter wants to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Couture fails with the takedown.
Rocco Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Couture tries to bum rush Carter with a series of wild strikes but Carter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Horrible takedown by Couture or perhaps it was just good defense by Carter which made him look bad.
Rocco Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Couture.
Carter throws a combination that misses
and Couture counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A cross from Couture lands.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Couture closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carter stops Couture from passing to mount.
Couture has control of an arm but Carter manages to advance to Couture's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carter trying to control the hands but Couture breaks the grip.
I would not like to be Carter right now.
Let's hope that Couture has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Couture connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Carter to escape the position.
Carter is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Couture scores with strikes from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Couture keeps control of the position easily here as Carter tries to buck him off.
Couture lands punches and elbows.
Couture is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Couture gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Couture gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Couture apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Carter wants to clinch but Couture slips to the side
and Couture counters with a one-two to the body.
Rocco Carter's cut is getting worse.
Couture swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Carter decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Couture's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Couture controls Carter momentarily but Carter frees himself.
Carter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Couture looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Carter is defending well. Couture quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Carter has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Couture celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
