Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Edwin Jarvis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Badiss Kassib!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jarvis has closed the distance and engaged Kassib in a clinch.
Jarvis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kassib's efforts to push away.

Kassib manages to break the clinch.

Jarvis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jarvis lands in his opponent's guard.

Jarvis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jarvis trying to control but Kassib is working from the bottom.
Jarvis is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kassib is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kassib is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jarvis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kassib has momentary wrist control but Jarvis slips an elbow through the middle.

Jarvis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jarvis stands up over Kassib, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Jarvis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kassib's head.
Jarvis chips away with some ground and pound.
Jarvis scoring with punches to the head and body.
Jarvis postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Kassib has momentary wrist control but Jarvis slips an elbow through the middle.
Jarvis distracts Kassib with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kassib is trying to keep Jarvis in close.
Jarvis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kassib can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jarvis controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jarvis trying to control the position from guard on top but Kassib is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jarvis content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Kassib can't keep his opponent in guard - Jarvis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kassib wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Jarvis seems to be working for a kimura but Kassib defends the submission attempt.
Jarvis landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Jarvis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jarvis wants to free his trapped foot but Kassib is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jarvis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kassib sees it coming and defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Edwin Jarvis dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


A head kick misses from Kassib.
Kassib throws a sloppy head kick and Jarvis moves out of range easily.
Edwin Jarvis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kassib is working to avoid the ground and pound but Jarvis connects with a decent elbow.

Jarvis passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kassib!
Jarvis fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kassib is breathing heavily.

Jarvis postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Kassib badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Jarvis around the waist but Jarvis pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Jarvis is the winner by TKO! Jarvis jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edwin Jarvis!
