Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a hook. Mild ducked under it nicely.
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mild takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Mild gets a clinch.
Jones stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Mild is trying to stall.

Mild manages to break the clinch.
Mild changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Mild manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mild blocks a jab.
Mild drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jones sprawls and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mild manages to get himself to full guard.

Mild is trying to keep Jones in close.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Mild is keeping the position.
Mild not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Mild has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mild works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Mild looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jones passes into side control.
Mild tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it.
Jones wants to stand but Mild has his arm trapped.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Jones punishes Mild's body with a nice straight punch.

Mild looking to score a takedown here. Jones is defending well but Mild drives through and ends up in Jones 's guard.
Mild is fighting to break Jones 's control of his arms but Jones is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Mild is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Jones throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Mild rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mild's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jones gets caught flat footed, as Mild shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Mild is looking to advance position but Jones has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Jones throws a looping overhand right but Mild ducks down to avoid it.

Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mild gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kevin Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones stuffs the takedown.
Jones looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jones stuns Mild with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mild tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Mild ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Mild. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oh Mild is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Eddie Mild is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jones flashes Mild a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Mild's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Mild crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Jones punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
