The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tarrico closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Tarrico jumps into guard, dragging Hansen to the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Tarrico manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Hansen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tarrico smiles and moves away.

Tarrico rushes Hansen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hansen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tarrico wants to break the clinch but can't.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hansen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Tarrico is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hansen pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hansen.
Tarrico jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hansen walks away with a smile on his face. Tarrico gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Tarrico throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hansen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tarrico is in Hansen's guard.
Hansen wants to sweep but no luck.
Tarrico is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hansen wants to hit a switch here but Tarrico passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hansen there!
Tarrico scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Hansen?

Tarrico working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Hansen turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Tarrico off and cradles Hansen's limp body as Tarrico celebrates with his corner.
