Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haise Sasaki (ranked 518 p4p, 25 weight class) and Heitor Machado (ranked 1094 p4p, 54 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

It looked like Sasaki was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Machado.

Machado jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sasaki walks away with a smile on his face. Machado gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Machado throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sasaki 's waist but Sasaki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Machado off to one side.
Heitor Machado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horrible takedown attempt by Machado or perhaps it was just good defense by Sasaki , which made it look bad.
Machado lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Sasaki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sasaki wants it to stay on the feet.

Machado closes the distance and clinches up with Sasaki , looking for a takedown. Machado pushes Sasaki against the cage but Sasaki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Machado shoots in looking for a takedown but Sasaki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Machado's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Machado ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Machado no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Machado bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sasaki 's guard.

Machado postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sasaki is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Machado, into his guard.

Machado has his foot on Sasaki 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sasaki works his way back into a safe position though.

Machado is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sasaki rolls with it to try and escape but Machado cranks on the arm and Sasaki is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
