Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Peter Hare (ranked 3176 p4p, 376 weight class) and Chong Tay (ranked 4132 p4p, 458 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tay throws a head kick but Hare moves out of range.
It looked like Hare wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tay takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tay tries to bum rush Hare with a series of wild strikes but Hare uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Hare counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Hare fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tay looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Tay lands a head kick that bluckles Hare and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Tay no doubt looking to push for a finish!

Tay has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
