The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaffer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Weryg to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Shaffer has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Weryg off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
