The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hjalmgeirsson feints and as Da Silva raises his hands in defense, Hjalmgeirsson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Da Silva is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Hjalmgeirsson presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
